Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Description:

ProCare Therapy is partnered with a School District who is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team. We have multiple Special Education Teaching openings available.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive practices.
  • Assess students’ progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Valid Special Education teaching license in Virginia.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Special Education Teacher Details:

  • 26/27 School Year
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.
