Job Title: Associate Lead - Field Marketing (North America)
Location: Texas (Austin preferred), California (Bay Area preferred)
Reports to : General Manager for North America
Job Summary :
The Associate Lead - Field Marketing officer, will play a crucial role in driving WSO2's growth by developing and executing impactful marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads and build brand awareness within the North American market. This role requires close collaboration with the North America Regional General Manager, the Regional Sales team, and the Global Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a diverse range of marketing initiatives, including in-person and virtual events, digital advertising, and account-based marketing programs.
Responsibilities and Duties :
  • Develop and execute the regional marketing plan in collaboration with the Regional GM and Global Marketing team, with a strong focus on lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Plan and execute a variety of marketing events, including (but not limited to) webinars, workshops, conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities, ensuring alignment with regional and global marketing objectives.
  • Manage the regional marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal ROI on all marketing investments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to identify target accounts, develop joint sales and marketing plans, and align marketing activities with sales priorities.
  • Work with the Global Marketing team to localize global campaigns and adapt them to the specific needs of the North American market.
  • Leverage marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot) and other digital marketing tools to nurture leads and track campaign performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in B2B marketing, including account-based marketing, digital advertising, AI, and event marketing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, industry influencers, and event organizers.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B technology marketing, with a strong emphasis on field marketing or event marketing.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing successful marketing events, including in-person and virtual formats.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing (SMM), email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, etc) and sales engagement tools (Apollo, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.).
  • An interest in AI and how it can be leveraged to drive more efficient and more impactful marketing activities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in the enterprise software industry is a plus.
