About the role:

Gartner research and insights help business leaders make more effective decisions every day. Our Corporate Marketing team strives to understand the needs of the customers and communities we serve and design the most effective programs to profitably meet those needs. This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey.

This team is responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of virtual programs designed to engage both Gartner prospects and clients across the marketing funnel. In this role, the Marketing Specialist partners closely with Marketing, Research, Sales, and other cross-functional stakeholders to develop and manage high-impact content and global program scheduling processes. The position plays a critical role in driving audience engagement, operational excellence, and overall program performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They are innovative, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and across teams, with a passion for optimizing processes and enhancing audience experiences. This role reports to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and continuous optimization of virtual programs.

What you will do:

Optimize and Prepare Content for Publication

  • Optimize content for publication by reviewing titles, abstracts, meta descriptions, and other content elements to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with Gartner standards.

  • Help make our content easier to find and engage with by using tools like tagging, categorization, SEO, and emerging AI-powered search features.

  • Support content strategy execution by aligning published assets to research priorities and business objectives while leveraging approved AI tools and cross-functional collaboration.

Coordinate Global Program Scheduling and Operations

  • Manage global program schedules by coordinating virtual event calendars and supporting documents, ensuring alignment with business priorities, program goals, and participant availability.

  • Maintain scheduling accuracy and logistics by tracking program capacity, participation requirements, key milestones, and schedule details across internal systems.

  • Coordinate stakeholder communications by partnering with research analysts, presenters, and marketing teams to manage scheduling requests, deadlines, and program updates.

  • Support operational execution by applying scheduling best practices, coordinating production resources, and ensuring smooth program delivery.

Drive Program Performance and Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor program performance by analyzing audience engagement, participation trends, and business outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Improve processes and efficiency by enhancing workflows, documentation, and operational practices to support scalability, consistency, and continuous improvement.

  • Advance operational excellence by leveraging innovative tools, standardizing processes, and proactively solving issues to improve program effectiveness.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field, preferred

  • High level of accuracy and proven attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

  • 2-3 years of marketing, operations and/or related experience, preferred

  • Experience with Excel and Google Drive

  • Proven ability to interact and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Project Manager mindset who can simultaneously juggle multiple, competing priorities

  • Process-oriented individual who looks to maximize efficiencies in new or existing procedures

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 78,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
