This assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule, manageable patient volume, strong clinical support, and travel assistance for qualified providers.

Practice Setting

This outpatient Occupational Medicine clinic provides care for correctional officers, healthcare employees, and other workforce populations. Providers focus on workplace health, injury management, regulatory examinations, and return-to-work evaluations in a supportive team environment.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Perform DOT physical examinations
  • Conduct pre-employment and fitness-for-duty evaluations
  • Manage workers' compensation cases
  • Evaluate and treat occupational injuries
  • Perform minor procedures, including simple laceration repair and suturing
  • Manage musculoskeletal injuries

  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM at a secondary clinic location
  • 30-minute lunch break daily

Patient Volume & Support
  • Average 14-16 patients per day
  • Two CMAs available for clinical support
  • Front desk registration staff onsite
  • Access to Medical Director collaboration when needed

Qualifications Required
  • Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP or Adult NP)
  • Active DEA registration
  • DOT Medical Examiner Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of Occupational Medicine experience
  • Experience performing:
    • DOT physicals
    • Pre-employment examinations
    • Workers' compensation evaluations
    • Musculoskeletal injury management
    • Minor suturing procedures
  • Active Wisconsin license or willingness to obtain licensure
Preferred
  • Experience with EPIC
  • Occupational health or employee health background
  • Multi-state licensure
Travel Information

Travel assistance is available for qualified providers, including:
