Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Cross Country Education | Palm Beach County, Florida (On-site)


About the Role

Cross Country Education is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services to Elementary, Middle, and High School students throughout Palm Beach County, FL for the 2026-2027 school year. We have multiple openings available for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students achieve communication success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Florida Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Impaired.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply – supervision provided.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.


Schedule & Assignment Details

  • Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available.
  • Elementary, Middle, and High School caseloads.
  • Caseloads determined by school assignment.
  • Up to 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
  • Hours may vary based on school needs and caseload.
  • Candidates may be assigned to up to two school sites.
  • In-person services required; no virtual positions available.


Contract Dates

  • First Student Day: August 10, 2026.
  • Contract End Date: May 27, 2027.
