Job description

Ultimately, the Account Manager (Account Executive) is responsible for the successful execution of day-to-day marketing projects and the overall success of Leadhub’s clients. 


The Account Manager is the liaison between the client and Leadhub. The Account Manager is client-facing and a champion of the Leadhub culture and our TRUST core values. The Account Manager's primary goal is to build relationships and ultimate trust with the client while keeping them informed on Leadhub’s marketing efforts on their behalf. 


The Account Manager sets client expectations on deadlines, costs (estimates, invoices, etc.) for projects, and the scope of project deliverables when new work is requested. This individual keeps clients informed at every stage of a project and ensures that they are satisfied with all work as it progresses. 


The Account Manager coordinates the activities for our Buy, Build, Creative, and Brand fulfillment teams. Additionally, the Account Manager takes primary responsibility for defining project deliverables and setting and meeting deadlines. 


The Account Manager position handles many client accounts differing in size and services and is responsible for assigning jobs and tasks in Basecamp, crafting creative briefs, creating project estimates (with input from various team members), managing client budgets and KPIs, maintaining schedules, and developing status reports and meeting agendas whilst meeting with the clients on a regular basis.

Details of Responsibilities and Expectations:


  • Act as liaison between client and agency by maintaining regular contact with both while ensuring effective communication flow
  • Host recurring meetings between the client and internal team to discuss recent performance, project deliverables, etc.
  • Expected to be familiar with the clients’ business and be ready to contribute ideas and suggestions in meetings
  • Lead strategic projects with the support of the Brand Team and Account Services Lead
  • Keep Account Services Lead briefed on all client needs, concerns and issues while maintaining overall client initiative calendars
  • Stay aware of clients’ business goals, KPIs, and have constant knowledge of clients’ business needs and challenges beyond direct areas of responsibility
  • Keep the client informed of what is happening with their account (wins, red flags, updates, etc.)
  • Develop marketing plans to meet clients’ business goals by working directly with them to assess and refine needs
  • Ensure previously agreed upon budgets are being used effectively, while keeping the client informed
  • Oversee the progression of projects; coordinating projects with internal agency departments
  • Coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns across different mediums (print, digital, traditional, etc.)
  • Act as the liaison between third-party vendors and ensure completion of projects (print production, traditional media, etc.) 
  • Develop and update project timelines, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
  • Participate in creative development: write creative briefs, hold internal briefings with the creative team, and assure adherence to strategy during the review process
  • Monitor competitors’ activity and media placements
  • Evaluate internal and external processes and make suggestions for improvements as necessary
  • Responsible for monthly hour tracking to ensure profitability and supporting overall client profitability
  • Showcase the teams work by sharing monthly performance data and be prepared to answer questions regarding paid and organic performance
  • Stay in the know on industry trends and updates to help provide new opportunities and solutions
