At Fontainebleau, striking design, contemporary art, music, fashion and technology merge into a vibrant new kind of guest experience. Guests are invited to enter a world where they are free to play, shop, dine, spa, meet or simply relax - however they define a perfect day. Situated on oceanfront Collins Avenue in the heart of Millionaire's Row, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is one of the most historically and architecturally significant hotels on Miami Beach. Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.

Responsibilities

The VIP Concierge is responsible for delivering an exceptional, personalized guest experience to Fontainebleau's VIP clientele. This role serves as the primary point of contact for VIP guests before arrival, throughout their stay, and post-departure, ensuring every aspect of the guest journey is seamless, anticipatory, and aligned with luxury service standards.

The VIP Concierge works closely with multiple hotel departments to coordinate special requests, experiences, and accommodations, while proactively anticipating guest needs and resolving issues with discretion and professionalism.

 Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following: 
  • Provides VIP guests with the highest level of personalized, luxury service in a warm, professional, and timely manner.
  • Serves as the dedicated concierge contact for VIP guests, managing requests related to accommodations, amenities, dining, transportation, and special experiences.
  • Coordinates RSVP responses and logistics for VIP and high-profile guest events, ensuring all arrangements are executed flawlessly.
  • Performs general administrative duties including phone correspondence, email communication, and system data entry.
  • Establishes and maintains positive, lasting relationships with guests through attentive service and thoughtful follow-up.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, remaining calm and solutions-oriented in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador and role model, representing Fontainebleau's service standards and encouraging excellence among peers.
  • Adheres to all departmental and company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Maintains an upbeat, polished, and professional demeanor, projecting warmth, confidence, and enthusiasm at all times.
  • Performs concierge duties, guest coordination, and other related responsibilities as assigned.
  • Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards consistent with Front Office and Concierge guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of guest relations, service recovery, and luxury hospitality standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing guest needs effectively
  • Proficiency with basic office equipment and hotel systems (computer, multi-line phone, PMS)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to enhance guest satisfaction
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
