Job description

We are seeking a 4th OB/GYN to join our employed practice in Rhinebeck, New York. The group currently consists of three board certified physicians and certified nurse midwives with a long established reputation throughout the region. The primary office is located in a suite at Northern Dutchess Hospital (NDH) in Rhinebeck. A secondary office is located minutes away in historic Kingston.We are seeking a well-trained and caring OB/GYN who prefers to work in a small town setting with all of the sophistication of a major medial center. The successful candidate will be board certified or eligible in OB/GYN and is interested in joining a practice that balances work with family life. We are offering a competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits.Northern Duchess Hospital is a 68-bed acute care, not-for-profit, community hospital. The group utilizes a state of the art birthing center that is connected to the main hospital that sees more than 770 births each year. Built on a solid reputation for providing sophisticated maternity care in a homelike setting, the Birthing Center offers moms a single-room birthing experience where she labors, delivers, recovers and stays in one single room with her baby. The hospital serves a population of 100,000 people in its primary and secondary service areas and offers healthcare services to residents of northern Dutchess, southern Columbia, and parts of Ulster counties.Rhinebeck and Kingston are terrific communities in which to live and work. Rhinebeck, located less than two hours north of New York City, is a great community that is home to many small businesses, New York executives and professionals. Rhinebeck is easily accessible by Amtrak. Rhinebeck is part of one of the largest historic districts in the United States.
