8630 MarketingThe Photographer/Videographer is responsible for capturing and producing high-quality photo and video content that highlights patient care, staff, facilities, and community initiatives. The Photographer/Videographer understands the importance of professionalism, sensitivity, and HIPPA compliance in a healthcare setting and can also assist with graphic design projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or a related field.

Experience

Required: Proven experience in photography and videography (portfolio required)

Preferred:

Healthcare or corporate photography and videography marketing experience
Experience working in a healthcare, hospital, or clinical setting

Motion graphics or animation experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects; Illustrator or InDesign preferred).

Working knowledge of graphic design principles.

Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and storytelling in professional environments.

Ability to work in sensitive settings with professionalism, discretion, and respect.

Knowledge of or willingness to learn healthcare compliance requirements (including HIPAA).

May require flexible hours based on clinical schedules or events.

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Familiarity with patient education content or medical storytelling preferred.

Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., captioning, readable design for patient materials) preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential

Captures and produces professional photography and video content featuring clinical environments, staff, patients (as permitted), and events.

Collaborates with marketing, communications, and clinical teams to develop compelling, accurate visual storytelling.

Ensures all content aligns with brand standards and reflects the organization's mission and values.

Follows all privacy regulations and obtains proper consent, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws (e.g., HIPAA) when working with patient-related content.

Plans, shoots, and edits video content including interviews, testimonials, educational materials, and promotional campaigns.

Edits and retouches photos and videos using industry-standard tools.

Maintains an organized and secure digital asset library.

Provides graphic design support for marketing materials such as brochures, social media graphics, patient education materials, and internal communications.

Manages and maintains photography and video equipment, ensuring readiness for clinical environments.

Stays current on trends and best practices in healthcare marketing, visual media, and digital content.

Additional

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.

Performs other duties as assigned.
