Job Description

The Associate Director, Video Investment is seasoned, confident and can effectively multi-task across all video buying responsibilities. The position manages investment across the full Video eco-system (Linear TV, FEP, VOD, OTT, Mobile, Connected TV, etc).  

Responsibilities
  • Manages the Video Activation Process across multiple clients independently and efficiently:
  • Oversees development of planning costs estimates across portfolio
  • Approves all final campaign Planned vs. Purchased documents
  • Supports team on all campaign negotiations and needs
  • Approves and presents final National linear and digital video campaign buys
  • Supports team on development of all final client specific buy campaign deliverables
  • Point of contact for daily media team and/or client needs
  • Up to date on current national video partner opportunities and offerings
  • Overall management of team stewardship and associated tasks
  • Approves all final post buy analysis documents inclusive of client specific campaign insights and data implications
  • Works with Planning & Analytics teams to develop reporting cadence and implementation of measurement needs
  • Maintains understanding of clients' business needs and marketplace
  • Management of internal training needs and system access across team
  • Ownership of budget and forecasting tool needs across portfolio
  • Leads weekly team status meetings to ensure tracking of upcoming internal and client deliverables
  • Attends client meetings as requested, and provides timely follow-up to any internal/client requests
  • Develops strategic relationships with key internal team leads and external vendors
  • Represents Video COE in internal and external discussions across key Video topics
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of linear media buying or activation experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years digital experience
  • 2+ years people management experience
  • Working knowledge of all basic media systems/tools/processes (ie. MediaOcean, Prisma, Spectra/Media Bank)
  • Experience with all areas of National Video, including Linear, OLV, CTV and Addressable
  • Solid listening skills and takes notes during meetings, disseminates notes and follow-up as appropriate
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and can concisely explain complicated ideas and changes/differences in results.
  • Comfortable with presenting, in person and virtually, to client and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, while delegating and managing work of associate appropriately
  • Ability to work in a matrix (multi-supervisory) environment; can multi-task, manage one's time, and demonstrate personal organization and ability to meet deadlines (strong work ethic)
  • Adherence to agency procedures (on-time and accurate timesheets, GDPs, 360 feedback)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word

Compensation Range: $97,000 - $130,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
