DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

Nous sommes a la recherche de Game Designers de niveau intermediaire et senior pour rejoindre Ludia sur nos jeux en developpement et nos jeux live service.

En tant que Game Designer, tu travailleras directement avec les Lead Designers et les Senior Product Managers afin de contribuer a la creation d'experiences mobiles captivantes jouees par des millions de personnes a travers le monde.


Que tu sois specialisee en Feature Design, Content Design, Battle Design, Systems Design ou Narrative Design, nos jeux sont a la recherche de nouveaux talents !

RESPONSABILITES

Design de Jeu & Mecaniques

  • Concevoir des mecaniques de jeu amusantes, intuitives et robustes pour un large public.
  • Creer et equilibrer des systemes de jeu a l'aide de tableurs afin d'iterer et d'optimiser les systemes existants.
  • Produire une documentation claire et accessible pour l'equipe, incluant wireframes, diagrammes de flux d'ecrans et autres outils visuels.

Collaboration Interdisciplinaire

  • Collaborer etroitement avec les Product Managers et les Producteurs afin de faire evoluer et raffiner la vision a long terme du jeu.
  • Travailler avec les analystes de donnees pour ameliorer les indicateurs de performance cles (KPIs).
  • Collaborer avec les equipes de content design afin de creer des evenements de gameplay engageants et des contenus attrayants.

Suivi & Implementation

  • Prendre en charge la conception de nouvelles fonctionnalites et ameliorations de systemes, tout en defendant tes concepts aupres d'equipes multidisciplinaires.
  • Superviser l'implementation des fonctionnalites afin d'assurer le respect des standards de qualite etablis.
  • Effectuer une veille continue des tendances du marche et des produits concurrents afin d'identifier de nouvelles opportunites d'amelioration.

Analyse Concurrentielle & Tendances

  • Analyser les tendances du marche et les produits concurrents afin d'orienter la strategie de design du jeu.
  • Identifier les meilleures pratiques de l'industrie et integrer les apprentissages pertinents afin d'ameliorer l'experience de jeu.
  • Effectuer des benchmarks pour maintenir une experience competitive et alignee avec les attentes du marche.

Execution & Validation de la Vision du Jeu

  • Etablir des strategies de communication afin de partager efficacement les concepts de jeu avec les equipes et parties prenantes.
  • S'assurer que la vision du jeu demeure claire, alignee et appliquee de maniere coherente par toutes les equipes.


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Competences

  • 3+ annees d'experience en tant que Game Designer.
  • Experience sur au moins un jeu free-to-play (F2P).
  • A l'aise de travailler directement dans des moteurs de jeu (idealement Unity) ainsi qu'avec des tableurs.
  • Experience en conception de jeux sociaux, en ligne et/ou mobiles.
  • Bonne comprehension des jeux de type Builder.
  • Forte comprehension de l'attrait commercial des jeux, au-dela de ton propre profil de joueureuse.
  • Connaissance approfondie du design RPG free-to-play et de l'equilibrage de systemes.
  • Experience en game design dans Unity.

We are looking for talented mid and senior level game designers at Ludia on new and live service games. As a Game Designer you will work directly with the Lead Designer and Senior Product Managers to help create amazing mobile games played by millions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Game Design and Mechanics

  • Create fun, intuitive, and robust gameplay mechanics for a broad audience.
  • Design systems using spreadsheets and balance these systems to iterate and polish on established systems within the game.
  • Design accessible documentation for the team, using wireframes, screen flow diagrams, and other visual tools.

Cross-team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Product Manager and Producer to drive and polish the long-term vision of the game.
  • Work with data analysts to improve key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the content design team to adopt engaging content deliverables and gameplay events

Follow-up and Implementation

  • Take ownership of the design of new and improved features and systems and advocate for your designs within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Oversee the implementation of features to ensure they meet the established quality requirements.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and competitors' products to identify new opportunities for improvement.


Competitive Analysis and Trends

  • Analyze market trends and competitor products to guide the game's design strategy.
  • Identify best practices and integrate lessons learned from competitor products to enhance the gameplay experience.
  • Conduct benchmarking to stay competitive and aligned with market expectations.


Executing and Validating the Game Vision

  • Establish communication strategies to share game concepts within the team and with other stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a game designer.
  • Experience working on at least one F2P game.
  • Comfortable working directly in game engines (ideally Unity) and spreadsheets.
  • Experience in designing social, online, and/or mobile games.
  • An understanding of Builders
  • Strong understanding of the commercial appeal of games, including beyond your own player profile.
  • In-depth knowledge of free-to-play RPG design and system balancing.
  • Game design experience in Unity.
