POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Motion Graphics & Video Producer will support the New Jersey Devils Production team in the creation of in-arena and marketing assets. The main responsibility will be to support the Motion Graphics Artist/Digital Signage Specialist as well as support the Video Production team in occasional shoots and edits. We are looking for someone eager to learn and utilize their wide range of skills within a team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:

  • Creation of animated content for digital signage for New Jersey Devils’ home games and Prudential Center events including but not limited to all interior LED boards, IPTV and digital signage.
  • Integrate motion graphic elements within content produced by the Video team to create seamless finished products.
  • Support Video Production team on shoots as needed.
  • Work with Client Services in creation of sponsored elements for In-Game Presentation.
  • Assist in game load-in and execution of design elements for all Devils home games and special events as assigned.
  • Pitch creative concepts, develop ideas, scripts and edits to deliver final production of assigned projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of professional design and animation experience.
  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere (or Resolve) and Cinema 4D is a must.
  • Proficiency in professional camera systems is required.
  • Experience video editing sports content or adjacent media.
  • Experience compositing, color correction, motion tracking, green screen keying, and rotoscoping video footage is required.
  • Experience with designing for arena LEDs, Ribbon Boards, and various composition aspect ratios is required.
  • Knowledge of 3rd Party Renderers for Cinema 4D such as Octane and Redshift preferred.
  • Experience generating 3D models from Adobe Illustrator and EPS files within Cinema 4D.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel Requirements: This role may be required to travel on rare occasions; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
  • Work Environment: This position generally requires that work be performed from the Prudential Center/New Jersey Devils offices, but attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to move up to 15 pounds.

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $70,000 and $80,000/year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position will be an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
