What We Are Looking For:
Bandwidth's Video Producer for Talent & Learning must be passionate about compelling visual storytelling that drives employee engagement and delivers powerful and effective messages across multiple platforms. This individual will bridge the gap between complex training and engaging digital content to drive knowledge retention and impact. Highly organized and creative, the Video Producer will manage the end-to-end creation of video assets from concept to completion, while leveraging innovative uses of Generative AI. This key member of the People Services team must embody the Bandwidth Brand, be a servant leader to their internal clients, and be responsible for reflecting and inspiring the Bandwidth culture through creativity.
Portfolio Required (please include examples of educational or instructional storytelling).
What You'll Do:
  • Plan and execute a wide variety of video productions from start to finish for the Talent Development team. This includes concept development, filming, editing, creating or sourcing b-roll, creating voice overs and/or coaching talent, music selection, and animation. Content will be responsible for creating that content that resonates with all departments, with a focus on product knowledge, leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Proactively explore and implement Generative AI tools (e.g., AI voiceovers, automated transcription, and AI-assisted editing) to maximize efficiency and keep training content modern.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with Talent Development and other departments, providing integrated multimedia solutions to solve business challenges.
  • Translate technical briefs or training materials into engaging scripts that prioritize learner retention and simplify the complex to drive desired learning actions.
  • Execute and oversee a standardized video review and QA process, ensuring all outputs adhere strictly to production best practices, while allowing for optimal feedback from all parties.
  • Direct and execute videography in-studio and on location, always working to strategically improve and enhance the final product.
  • Maintain a monthly dashboard of content engagement and KPIs - reporting on the performance of video content with recommendations for continued growth.
  • Support several projects simultaneously in a fast turnaround environment.
  • Because this role is integral to the success of the Global Talent Development mission, there is special emphasis on work that is informative and effective for helping Bandmates succeed in their mission and professional growth.
  • Maintain an organized library of video assets and project files on our shared NAS for future use , while successfully operating within a shared physical production studio by adhering to strict booking protocols and coordinating equipment access through the Senior Video Producer.
  • Provide light coaching to subject matter experts (SMEs) to help them feel comfortable and effective on camera.
  • Stay current on digital learning and video technology trends to suggest new ways of reaching our Bandmates.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Works in a normal office environment with occasional travel required. Some travel could be to offices in the U.S. or internationally.

What You Need:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of professional video production experience, including storyboarding, audio capture, lighting setup, and camera operation.
  • Knowledge:
    • Strong ability to simplify the complex and communicate technical artistic thoughts and ideas to various audiences.
    • A strong interest in (and aptitude for) using AI tools to streamline production and create innovative content.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a highly approachable attitude and strong interviewing abilities.
    • Exceptional storytelling and technical abilities, up to and including scriptwriting for video.
    • Experience or interest in adult learning principles or educational content design.
    • Proficient in animation, photography, and design, with fluency in Premiere Pro.
    • Strong familiarity with After Effects and Blackmagic camera systems.

  • Experience:
    • Preferred experience includes working in an agency or in-house tech environment
  • Skills:
    • Experience on set managing video shoots and coordinating with crew, talent, and equipment.
    • Proficient in maintaining organized file structures and media asset management systems to ensure smooth workflows.
    • Strong understanding of color theory and its application in video production to enhance storytelling through effective color grading.
