Summary of Position
Create and produce videos and other relevant digital content in support of college marketing and communication, training and community projects.
Education and Experience
Associate's Degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting from a US nationally or regionally accredited university OR Certificate of Completion in Radio/TV Broadcasting OR 60 or more college credit hours in lieu of Associate Degree or Certificate of Completion with significant coursework related to video production required.
One year experience with professional video producing/editing required.
Knowledge Skills and Ability
• Documented video production skills to include: directing, technical directing, audio, studio and field cameras, lighting, script writing, linear and non-linear editing systems and graphic systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and MAC editing software.
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers, college employees at all levels, and the general public.
• Ability to work under precise and exacting conditions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter, and display enthusiasm and resourcefulness.
• Excellent customer service skills.
Essential Functions
  • Shoot, edit and produce high-quality, creative digital packages in support of strategic imperatives to grow enrollment, build community awareness and support, and nurture target audiences such as employees and alumni.
  • Generate questions and conduct interviews for video projects.
  • Manage the scheduling of video productions.
  • Regularly gather B-roll footage and maintain a library of footage.
  • Serve as a videographer at campus events as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of the college's on-campus digital signage.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the creation and execution of social media content strategy, utilizing analytics, best practices, and creative storytelling to drive engagement across channels.
  • Support and run live-streaming of campus events and training, including Board of Trustee workshops and meetings.
  • Maintain and store video equipment and all video and digital assets.
  • Coordinate with academic departments to provide students with opportunities for participation in projects.
  • Write, maintain and edit web content to support recruitment goals in collaboration with other Marketing team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
