  • Evaluate growth and expansion: Lead financial modeling and due diligence for strategic growth initiatives, including corporate acquisitions (M&A), and our international expansion.
  • Manage equity and incentive programs: Oversee the company's capitalization structure, including equity ownership, incentive allocations, vesting, and related financial reporting and compliance.
  • Manage capital allocation: Direct the company's capital structure, optimizing cash flow to balance continuous product development with sales and marketing expansion.

Accounting, Governance and Audit

  • Navigate sales cycles: Model and forecast seasonal sales pipelines associated with Corporate and State customers.
  • Drive margin efficiency: Analyze the expense profile to ensure clear decision-making on how best to improve our EBITDA profile. This would include annual expenses that occur across the business.

People Management and Overall Leadership
  • Lead Accounting and FP&A teams: Directly supervise and mentor the Controller and Manager of FP&A, providing oversight and support across the team. Participate as a key member of the senior executive team, providing strategic direction across the broader organization.
  • Collaborate with our board: Work closely with our executive team and investors to ensure strong partnership and transparent communication

Travel Requirement: This position requires approximately 20% travel to support business needs, including company meetings, client engagements, and other business-related activities.
This role can be either hybrid or fully remote.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree in Business/Finance strongly preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership, including at least 5+ years in a senior executive role (VP or Senior Director) managing multi-functional teams.
