Our commitment to providing exceptional care, despite any challenges, goes beyond just a job; it’s a calling that drives us forward every day.**Job Overview**The VP, Medical Group leads, manages, and supervises Health Services Regional Medical Directors with oversight of all medical clinic providers. The VP partners with Executive Physician and Operational Leadership (EPL-Ops) to integrate Dental, Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Adult/Senior Care, and Specialty services and organizational strategies within the Health Services provider and value-based care model to achieve all organizational objectives and goals. The VP serves as an EPL member and provides comprehensive, coordinated, primary and preventive health care services to a diverse & underserved patient population across their lifespan. In performing this work, the VP ensures the execution of assuring access to high-quality, affordable, and caring health care across the entire delivery system. In addition, this position works in collaboration with AltaMed-affiliated companies to achieve common goals and execute on global strategies.**Minimum Requirements*** Board Certified or Board eligible physician, Family Practice or Geriatrics preferred.* California License to practice medicine, and an unrestricted DEA License.* Minimum 12 years of experience leading and managing providers, clinical teams, and multiple outpatient health clinic settings.* Experience in a community health center setting working with underserved populations is preferred.* Experience developing and implementing individual, clinic, and system-level improvements.* Experience with managed care, administration of programs, and staff supervision, including staff at satellite clinics.* Experience with Electronic Medical Records.* Experience developing and leading medical quality improvement programs, preferably in a managed care setting.* Previous experience with computer-based systems required; Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.* A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.**Compensation**$384,410.83 - $434,232.34 annually**Compensation Disclaimer**Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
