Job description

We are a leading provider of opioid addiction treatment services. Our treatment centers provide pharmacotherapeutic maintenance and detoxification services in a conventional outpatient setting. We are a nationwide leading provider of critical services to thousands of individuals and their communities.

Patient-Centered Treatment

Our Patient-Centered Treatment program uses a two-pronged approach to address the medical and behavioral aspects of opioid addiction. This Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) uses Methadone or Buprenorphine (aka: Suboxone) to address a patient s physical dependence on Opioids, and team-based Behavioral Counseling to address a patient s psychological dependence.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a Regional Addiction Medicine Medical Director for 36+ hours a week based in Denver, Colorado, with responsibility for multiple clinic sites and telehealth services. Our outpatient treatment and recovery is supported by FDA-approved methadone. This position has a flexible schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite at the clinic, but alternative schedules can be discussed as well.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

GREAT candidates for the position will have:

  • A history of demonstrated success in a professional clinical or medical environment, including experience with multi-site management and telehealth.
  • A highly motivated self-starter & fast learner, especially in telehealth technologies and regulations.
  • Exceeds customer/team expectation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively via telehealth platforms.
  • Excellent Decision Making & Problem Solving Skills.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in the context of telehealth documentation.
  • Problem analysis and assessment.
  • Time management.
  • Preferable Fellowship Trained in Addiction Medicine.
  • ABAM Certified or Eligible.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be licensed to practice medicine or osteopathy in Colorado.
  • One to three years of documented experience in the provision of service to persons who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs, and one year of experience in treatment of opioid addiction.
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Medicine.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and regulations.
