Job description

One Nevada Credit Union is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Assistant Vice President, Marketing Operations to lead the daily operational functions of our Marketing Department. This role oversees campaign execution, vendor management, traditional media channels, and marketing project workflows-ensuring every initiative is delivered efficiently, on time, on budget, and aligned with our organizational goals.
The AVP, Marketing Operations also provides leadership and supervision to the Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Specialist/Designer, collaborating closely with internal partners and external agencies to support member growth, product promotion, and brand consistency across our statewide branch footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Operations Leadership (50%)
  • Lead execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (direct mail, outdoor, broadcast, print, and integrated initiatives).
  • Manage the master marketing calendar for cross-departmental and branch alignment.
  • Oversee campaign workflow from concept to deployment, including creative briefs, approvals, trafficking, and rollout.
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics to ensure smooth execution.
  • Uphold brand standards and regulatory requirements across all marketing materials.
  • Serve as primary liaison for advertising agencies, printers, mail houses, outdoor vendors, and media partners.
  • Negotiate vendor agreements and monitor service performance.
  • Manage marketing operations budgets and expenses.
  • Identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities within marketing processes.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools to support content creation, automation, analytics, and workflow optimization.
  • Establish responsible and effective AI usage standards within marketing operations.
Planning & Coordination (50%)
  • Partner with the Senior Vice President, Marketing to implement strategies supporting Lending, Retail, Member Services, and Insurance.
  • Manage traditional channel strategies including direct mail, outdoor, and broadcast scheduling.
  • Work closely with digital marketing partners to ensure integrated campaign delivery.
  • Coordinate with Compliance and Legal to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Support branch-level marketing initiatives across all locations.
  • Assist with marketing reporting, forecasting, and budget analysis.
  • Recommend operational and process improvements.
  • Develop reporting systems for campaign performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and development for assigned staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • 1 Marketing Coordinator
  • 1 Marketing Specialist/Designer

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of traditional marketing channels (direct mail, outdoor, broadcast, print production).
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing integration and financial services marketing.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards within financial institutions.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for content development, analytics, automation, and reporting.
  • Skilled in vendor negotiation, contract management, and project workflow coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Proficient in marketing project management software and PC-based systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership abilities, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships at all levels.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience leading creative teams, multi-channel campaigns, and media/vendor relationships.
  • Experience in a credit union, financial institution, or banking environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns is required.
  • Hands-on AI experience within a marketing or business environment required.
