The VP of Sales is responsible for leading our inbound and outbound sales strategies and international market expansion efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing high-performing sales teams, and implementing effective sales processes. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the continued growth and success of our company.


Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute comprehensive inbound and outbound sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and drive innovation.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to assess international market opportunities, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strategic partnerships and alliances with international distributors, resellers, and channel partners to extend market reach and penetration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and finance, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics and sales KPIs to track progress and performance.

Requirements

Required Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing inbound and outbound sales strategies in a competitive market environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing international market expansion strategies, including market research, partner/channel development, and localization efforts.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor sales professionals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools (such as Salesforce).
  • Ability to travel as needed 15%-25%.
