Job description

Job Title: Vice President, Executive Development & Organizational Effectiveness

Job Summary:

The Vice President, Executive Talent & Organization Effectiveness defines and drives the enterprise strategy for executive talent, succession, organization effectiveness, executive development and change leadership. Reporting to the Chief Belonging and Talent Officer, this role serves as a strategic advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors on executive talent, succession risk and leadership capability. The role is accountable for building a scalable and integrated talent system that enables strong leadership pipelines, future-ready capabilities, organizational adaptability, and sustained business performance.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Define and lead the enterprise strategy for executive talent management across VP+ and Critical Role populations.
  • Lead executive succession governance discussions with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors, providing succession recommendations, leadership risk assessments, and executive talent insights.
  • IdentifyCritical Roles annually and ensure robust succession plans and talent pipelines are in place for business continuity and future growth.
  • Partner with Executive Recruiting and HR Business Partners to address succession gaps and build external executive talent pipelines.
  • Create and lead world-class executive development experiences that accelerate readiness, close capability gaps, and strengthen leadership effectiveness.
  • Leverage assessment and talent intelligence to define success profiles, future leadership capabilities, and executive development priorities.
  • Own the end-to-end talent process including performance evaluation, potential assessment, talent reviews, succession planning, career pathways, bench strength, and leadership pipeline development for the enterprise at scale.
  • Develop programs, tools, and experiences that strengthen executive effectiveness and leadership bench strength.
  • Lead the company'sorganizationeffectiveness strategy including executive team diagnostics, team interventions, cohesion initiatives, and leadership effectiveness efforts.
  • Serve as VF's enterprise expert in executive assessment, team effectiveness, organizational diagnostics, and leadership performance.
  • Partner with senior leaders to improve organizational health, effectiveness, and enterprise capability.
  • Embedchangeleadership, sponsorship, and organizational adaptability as core leadership expectations.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

  • Travel by air and overnight, as required 10-15% amount of time.

Hiring Range:

$250,560.00 USD - $313,200.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, orcommissionpotential.
