Job description

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead distributor representatives within assigned geography.
  • Execute product placement with targeted accounts.
  • Implement sales objectives/strategies with corporate hospitals.
  • Create and execute a territory business plan with key “essential wins.”
  • Meet objectives and sales goals within an assigned expense budget.
  • Coordinate with local veterinary associations for state VMA meetings.
  • Spend defined time in the field for face-to-face meetings with hospital influencers.
  • Set up and execute launch meetings with veterinary services to support product launches.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales (or equivalent competitive selling) or prior Elanco intern.
  • Team-first approach with hustle mentality and eagerness to win.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; no anticipated visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Influence without authority; strong communication/presentation skills.
  • Ability to convey messages/motivate audiences.
  • Decision-making under uncertainty; strategic thinking.
