Your Role:

Senior Veterinary Sales Representative: Tacoma

As a Senior Veterinary Sales Representative, you will be a disruptive force in the Tacoma, Washington territory, responsible for driving growth and building strong client connections with veterinary customers. You will play a pivotal role in our success during a historic launch period for Elanco's Pet Health organization,leveragingyourexpertiseto meet and exceed sales goals with our innovative portfolio of products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to drive product placement and achieve sales goals with key veterinary hospitals and clinics.

  • Provide leadership and influence for distributor representatives within the territory, ensuring alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.

  • Build andmaintainstrong, impactful partnerships with key decision-makers in veterinary practices, from independent clinics to corporate hospitals.

  • Serve as the key liaison with local andstateveterinary medical associations (VMAs), coordinating Elanco's presence and efforts at major events.

  • Plan and execute impactful product launch events and educational meetings in partnership with veterinary services to drive adoption and expand Elanco's market share.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education:Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent level of experience.

  • Experience:A minimum of 4 years of experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent experience in a competitive, complex selling environment (e.g., human health medical device, orthopedic sales).

  • Top Skills:Demonstratedcompetitive drive with a proventrack recordof success and the ability to strategically manage a complex portfolio of products across diverse customer accounts.

  • Must have a Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does notanticipateproviding sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Elanco currentlyanticipatesthat the base salary for this position could range from$85,000to$144,000depending partly on the successful candidate's qualifications, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employeesalso willbe eligible for a company bonus (depending partly on company and individual performance). Additionally, Elanco offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees that includes a company-matching 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
