At Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties, one of the largest Habitat affiliates in the country, we’re looking for dynamic, solutions-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments, embrace challenges, and are dedicated to generating a lasting impact on affordable homeownership in the Puget Sound. Since 1986, we’ve created 1,000 housing solutions for more than 2,600 people and successfully advocated for fair housing policies at the city, county, and state levels. As we set our sights on doubling our impact and serving an additional 2,000 people by 2030, we need the right team members to help us get there.   

Join us as the Senior Project Manager, where you will lead efforts to advance Habitat’s mission of building affordable housing.

Your Impact: 

Own project delivery across multiple developments in various stages of feasibility, design, pre-construction and civil construction on new-construction single family / multifamily condo / townhouse developments. 

Work closely with the Chief Impact Offer to manage and oversee projects in permitting phase including design, plan review, permit issuance, construction schedule, attend project consultant meetings, and monitor schedule. 

Mentor, train, and support other PMs on the entirety of project life span; design, permitting, construction, C.O to new homeowner handover. • Serve on project acquisition team, supporting efforts with cost data, schedules, feasibility risks, etc.

Own utility set up for all projects and support construction team in final execution of utility agreements. Coordinate/Run project meetings, with design team, consultants, GC’s and Senior Site Managers.

Own and honor the key partnerships in development, serving as the primary point of contact for all partnership projects.

Review project plans, work closely with QA manager for constructability, value engineering opportunities, and risk management issues.

Manage budget and estimate costs; create scope documents, track budgets and schedules; negotiate contracts and change orders and issue reports on project schedule and budget.

  • Oversee subcontractors with the support of GC’s and Senior site Managers for onsite activities. Oversee subcontractors and general contractors throughout project lifecycle. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to determine the specifications of the project.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
  • Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from autho0rities for construction sites.
  • Oversee and ensure ESDS compliance per project.
  • Adhere to funding requirements and oversee funding reporting.
  • Oversee Invoicing, Budgets, and schedules of all your projects.
  • Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards. Handle environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • BCs/BA degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a residential construction project manager or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of construction management processes.
  • Good driving record, valid driver's license and vehicle to travel to construction sites.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Work week is Monday to Friday, or other 5-day arrangements as fit the needs of the organization, with occasional meetings and events on Saturdays and evenings.
