Travel Radiation Therapist

Location: Utica, NY
Employer: NurseAmerica
Job Type: Travel Contract
Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts | Monday–Friday
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: January 12, 2026
Weekly Hours: 37.5 Guaranteed
On-Call: No

Pay Package 
  • Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,900
     

  • Weekly Housing & Meals Stipend (Tax-Free): $1200
     

  • Weekly Taxable Wages: $1700

Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking experienced Radiation Therapists for a travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise in radiation oncology and experience working with advanced treatment and simulation equipment.

Unit Details
  • Unit: Radiation Oncology
     

  • Schedule: Primarily 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary to accommodate patient schedules)
     

Responsibilities & Equipment
  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately
     

  • Operate Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE TrueBeam treatment systems
     

  • Perform simulations using Siemens Large Bore CT
     

  • Document and manage patient records using ARIA and Epic EMR
     

Requirements
  • Active New York Radiation Therapist License
     

  • Prior experience in Radiation Oncology
     

  • Proficiency with Varian treatment machines
     

  • Familiarity with Siemens CT simulation systems
     

  • Experience using ARIA and Epic EMR
