This 1099 opportunity offers a unique combination of flexibility, autonomy, and consistent case volume across both hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) settings. Providers will work across a diverse case mix, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB, urology, ENT, vascular, and outpatient procedures. Kaiserโs Central Valley locations are known for their predictable schedules, high case throughput, and supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilitiesโข Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures
โข Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed consent
โข Develop and execute anesthetic plans tailored to each patient
โข Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
โข Monitor patients intraoperatively and respond to clinical changes
โข Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal outcomes
โข Participate in maintaining efficient OR flow and high-quality patient care
Requirementsโข MD or DO from an accredited institution
โข Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
โข Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
โข Active, unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain)
โข Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor
โข Active malpractice insurance coverage
