Summary
Provides support to Managed Care department by providing operational support by coordinating contract management and legal correspondence with payers. Coordinates the contract signature process and storage of executed contracts. Collaborates with Payers on scheduling and agenda management for Joint Operating Committees Meetings.
Job Duties
  • Coordinates the contract execution process, including routing for signatures, tracking status and confirming completion. Uploads and maintains contract management systems.
  • Coordinates enterprise revenue tracking by documenting financial tracking of all contracts that go through the signature process.
  • Coordinates all legal correspondence with payers and legal counsel, including reviewing, editing, and disseminating communications. Ensures proper documentation and secure storage of records.
  • Coordinate Joint Operating Committees with Payers including scheduling and agenda management.
  • Supports meetings, travel and expense management for Enterprise VP and AVP, including supporting tasks to ensure smooth on-site meetings (technology setup, food coordination, etc).
  • Processes and tracks departmental invoices, bills and payments through accounts payable and corporate credit card if applicable.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years experience in Managed Care.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and similar applications.
  • Demonstrated ability in self-motivation, time management, and multi-tasking projects.
  • Ability to interact effectively and efficiently with all levels of staff including senior and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree
  • 3 years experience in a healthcare setting.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
