Job description

Position Summary 

We are seeking a reliable Pump Truck Driver to support job sites by transporting and operating pump equipment as needed. This role is important for ensuring materials are delivered and placed efficiently to keep projects on schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a construction environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Safely operate a pump truck to transport and assist with placement of materials at job sites 
• Set up and assist with basic operation of pump equipment (as applicable) 
• Load and unload materials (may include heavy lifting) 
• Coordinate with field crews and supervisors on timing and job site needs 
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections and report maintenance needs 
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles and equipment 
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies 
• Assist with basic yard or warehouse tasks as needed when not driving 

Qualifications 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL required)
• Experience operating pump trucks or similar construction equipment preferred 
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs) 
• Familiarity with local roads and job site navigation (Coastal NC area) 
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and communication skills 
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions 

Work Environment 

• Combination of driving, outdoor job sites, and yard/warehouse work 
• Exposure to construction environments, weather, and physical labor 

Compensation and Benefits 

• Hourly pay based on experience
