Job description

Valet Manager

Singer Drivers Club | Willow Springs Raceway | Mojave Desert, California

ABOUT SINGER DRIVERS CLUB

Singer Drivers Club (SDC) is a world-class private motorsport and lifestyle club at Willow Springs Raceway — the fastest road in the West since 1953. Set deep in the Mojave Desert, SDC hands its members the keys to six legendary circuits, elite driver coaching, concierge-level service, curated food and beverage, and an expansive outdoor pursuits program. This is more than a track. It's a founding-team opportunity to build something rare from the ground up — a club that fuses raw performance, real adventure, and genuine community at a standard set to rival the finest private clubs in the country. For the right person, this is the chance to help write the standard rather than inherit it.

SDC joins a distinguished family of private clubs and communities that includes Yellowstone Club, Moonlight Basin, Spanish Peaks, and Crazy Mountain Ranch — some of the most extraordinary member destinations anywhere. To build a career inside a collection this ambitious is a rare thing: the standard you help set here connects to a much larger world of remarkable places and the people who bring them to life.

THE ROLE

The Valet Manager owns the first and last impression a member has of Singer Drivers Club. This is white-glove, trackside valet for a membership that arrives in everything from daily drivers to seven-figure exotics — staged, retrieved, and handled with total discretion and precision.

You'll build and train a team, stand up the valet management system, and set a standard where every member is known by name and nothing is left to chance. You'll design the staging, key-control, and retrieval process, and own scheduling and coverage across member days and events.

You'll handle a wide range of vehicles — manual, high-performance, and exotic — with confidence and care and enforce the protocols that protect both the cars and the club. When a vehicle needs staging, transport, or a wash, you make it seamless.

You'll run valet as a business — scheduling to volume, flexing labor to budget, tracking daily, monthly, and quarterly KPIs, and owning the department's budget and financial goals. You'll oversee the valet and shuttle fleet, keeping every vehicle clean, maintained, and ready; manage bi-weekly payroll; and monitor driver safety through the fleet-tracking system.

This is anticipatory hospitality: you learn members' cars, habits, and preferences and have their vehicle ready before they ask. Discreet, precise, warm — every arrival, every departure.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Valet operations leadership — overseeing daily operations of staff and fleet
  • Confident handling of manual, high-performance, and exotic vehicles
  • Managing the timing of vehicle deliveries, pick-ups, and shuttle programs
  • Fleet oversight — daily inspection, cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, ongoing coaching, and performance management
  • Scheduling to volume and flexing labor to meet budget
  • Valet budget ownership and daily/monthly/quarterly KPI tracking
  • Bi-weekly payroll and service-charge oversight
  • Valet management systems (e.g., Flash), key-control protocols, and fleet safety tracking
  • Vehicle staging, retrieval, transport, and detailing coordination
  • Damage prevention, incident protocol, and risk management
  • Greeting and acknowledging every member with warm, anticipatory, preference-based service
  • Resolving member concerns and maintaining an impeccable valet environment
  • Discretion, professionalism, and member privacy with a high-net-worth clientele
  • Coordination with the concierge, events team, and property services

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years in valet, including 2+ years in a direct management role
  • Experience at a resort, club, or similar luxury property
  • Experience with high-value or exotic vehicles
  • Track record building, training, and leading a team
  • Experience with financial statements, P&L, and budgeting
  • Experience implementing or running a valet management and fleet-tracking system
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and POS proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and clean record; CDL a plus for shuttle operations
  • Confident driving manual transmission
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a similar field preferred

DETAILS

  • On-site, remote desert location; weekend, holiday, and event-day availability required; long hours may be required by business demands
  • Adherence to club grooming and appearance standards
  • Full-time, benefits-eligible
  • Reports to the Director of Driver Coaching, Outdoor Pursuits

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position requires walking, standing, and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with members, supervisors and subordinates.

BENEFITS

  • Medical, Dental, Vision benefits (FSA/HSA/DFSA options)
  • Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) - Annual $650
  • Company-paid employee Life Insurance, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability
  • 401K with Bi-Weekly Employer Match
  • Paid Time Off
