What does a vacation property manager do?

A vacation property manager oversees short-term rental properties, handling tasks such as marketing the property, managing bookings, coordinating cleaning and maintenance, and ensuring guests have a positive experience. They often set rental rates, communicate with guests before and during their stay, and resolve any issues that arise. By managing the day-to-day operations, they help property owners maximize rental income and maintain the property's condition. Vacation property managers also ensure the property complies with local laws and regulations regarding short-term rentals.

What are some common challenges faced by vacation property managers, and how can they be addressed?

Vacation property managers often navigate challenges such as handling last-minute guest issues, coordinating timely maintenance, and maintaining high occupancy rates during off-peak seasons.
