EPSI Worx is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team as an Organizational Design Specialist in Washington, D.C. 

Location: Washington, D.C. (on-site)

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description:

Supportthe Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization(EHRM) program as an Organizational Design Specialist. Provide workforcemanagement support to leadership through experience in staffing neworganizations.  Contractor will support government HR specialists andgovernment staffing needs, including acting as an HR liaison to several OEHRMpillars in tracking recruitment actions between OEHRM and VA HR Servicing organization. Duties include writing position descriptions and recruitmentpackages, setting up interview panels, ensuring onboarding of new staff goessmoothly, status and risk reporting to pillars and executive leadership,developing standard processes and tracking of activities to ensure compliancewith all VA staffing policies.  Contractor mustbe able to demonstrate critical thinking and analysis skills to problem solveand provide analyses and recommendations to client leadership.

Requirements: 

Minimumqualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for degreerequirements
  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects.
  • Well-versed in life cycle and project management methodologies.  
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedules, andperformance progress.
  • Experience in Risk/Issue Management
  • Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Experience in the full lifecycle of federal recruiting
  • Bacheloras Degree in Engineering, ComputerScience, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline

 Additional qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA
  • Experience implementing Electronic HealthRecords
  • Experience in hands-on federal human resource support, especiallyin developing position descriptions for classification,processing recruitment actions, and onboarding.
