Day-to-Day Ingredients - Responsibilities
As Vice President of Restaurant Technology, you will:
  • Define and execute enterprise restaurant technology strategy aligned to growth and operational priorities
  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle of POS, KDS, payments, labor, inventory, and in-store systems
  • Drive improvements in speed of service, accuracy, uptime, and team member experience
  • Oversee large-scale implementations, upgrades, and restaurant technology rollouts
  • Ensure system reliability, support performance, and incident response readiness

What You Bring to the Table - Required Experience
As Vice President of Restaurant Technology, you must have:
  • 14+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
  • Deep expertise in restaurant or QSR technology environments
  • Strong knowledge of POS, KDS, and in-restaurant systems
  • Proven success leading enterprise technology implementations at scale
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and performance
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including budget ownership and ROI delivery
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, systems integration, and cybersecurity standards

Where & How You'll Work
This role is based at the San Antonio Home Office, working on-site Monday through Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays. In this role, you'll have strong collaboration with leadership, across cross-functional teams, and with external partners to align capabilities with restaurant realities. The work environment is fast-paced and requires sound judgment, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration skills. Full-time availability is required, with occasional extended hours based on business needs, along with occasional travel to properties, project sites, and external meetings. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the San Antonio Home Office.
