Job description

Lead AI-driven UX design and help shape the future of agentic interfaces in the financial services industry! We are seeking a Lead AI UX Designer to operate at the intersection of design craft and AI-augmented delivery. In this role, you will own the end-to-end experience design for enterprise agentic interfaces - including conversational workflows, multi-step task orchestration and trust-calibration patterns. This involves building systems where AI agents discover information across fragmented sources, navigate governance and surface decision-ready context. In this role, you will lead a standalone, highly visible design pod for a leading global financial services firm, consult directly with stakeholders, present experience frameworks and prove the efficiency of AI-driven methodologies; a unique opportunity to shape a nascent agentic experience framework while delivering production-ready designs that maintain coherence across multi-agent interactions. As a leader, you treat AI tools the way a power user treats a codebase - orchestrating workflows, iterating rapidly and applying human judgment. If you are comfortable with ambiguity, biased toward making and can clearly articulate design rationale to engineering partners, we want you on our team! Req # Responsibilities Lead a standalone design pod to deliver AI-augmented enterprise solutions for a global financial services client Design end-to-end user experiences for enterprise agentic interfaces, conversational workflows and multi-step task orchestration Consult with client stakeholders to present design concepts, articulate rationale and influence product strategy Establish and evolve the underlying design system, interaction patterns and heuristics for agentic experiences Create functional prototypes using Figma, generative AI tools and LLM-assisted workflows to accelerate design cycles Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the technical feasibility of complex, multi-state interaction designs Mentor cross-functional teams on AI-native design best practices and efficiency methodologies Requirements Proven experience as a UX Design Lead or Manager overseeing complex enterprise product design Strong portfolio demonstrating complex multi-state interaction design and agentic or conversational UI frameworks High proficiency in Figma and modern AI tools to accelerate prototyping and research synthesis Consultative mindset with the ability to lead client conversations and present technical design concepts clearly Deep understanding of conversational design principles, ambiguity handling and multi-agent interaction systems Clear communication for articulating design rationale to product and engineering partners Ability to work onsite five days a week at a client office Nice to have Prior experience designing internal tools or products within the financial services industry
