  • Ensure Section 508 compliance and adherence to WCAG 2.x standards across applications
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions
  • Partner with project and client leadership to shape a modernization roadmap and implement modernization initiatives and continuous proactive improvement of the development processes while staying current with emerging frontend technologies
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve complex UI/UX and performance issues
  • Provide final UI/UX review and sign-off of developed apps across multiple tech platforms (e.g. M365 / Power Platform, ServiceNow, etc.) and front-end development teams (e.g. React based apps) prior to customer User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and rollout
  • Lead creation of high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes for multiple teams supporting disparate tech stacks
  • Develop repeatable design-to-development workflows to accelerate delivery across teams
  • Conduct usability testing and design validation sessions with development teams
  • Proactively coach and mentor development teams on UI/UX best practices and modern design approaches

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction & Design, or a related technical discipline strongly preferred OR related professional experience in lieu of a degree acceptable.
  • Over 8 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design and implementation, applying design standards and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver consistent, intuitive user experiences.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading design initiatives across multiple applications or crossfunctional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, and in design tools such as Figma or Adobe suite
  • Experience designing scalable component-based design systems
