The FOX2 Detroit Sales Team has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Executive focused on driving revenue through an omnichannel approach, with a primary emphasis on bringing brand-new video advertisersto Detroit's leading local television station.

Responsibilities

  • Assume primary responsibility for actively prospecting, developing, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline focused heavily on converting brand-new video advertiserswho have not traditionally utilized TV or premium streaming.

  • Design and present omnichannel campaigns, seamlessly integrating traditional linear broadcast, Fox Local Extension (FLX) OTT, Fox Local News (FLN), and our digital/mobile platforms to address client challenges.

  • Source new sales opportunities through a combination of researching potential accounts, initiating outbound communication, and following up on inbound leads.

  • Maintain a consistent presence in the field to develop relationships, conduct needs-analysis meetings, and present the benefits of our complete video portfolio.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales management, FLX, marketing, creative) to develop custom presentations that highlight the utility of our solutions.

  • Maintain expert knowledge of the competitive media landscape, OTT platforms, and a clear understanding of the characteristics that give FOX2 a competitive advantage.

  • Manage client advertising initiatives and create impactful post-campaign recaps, providing actionable recommendations to further optimize client ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • 1-3 years of sales experience required.

  • Proactive Business Development:Experience managing high-volume sales activity in a B2B environment. You excel at identifying untapped opportunities and consulting with new clients to demonstrate how video can achieve their business objectives.

  • Team-Oriented Approach:You naturally build rapport with both clients and colleagues. You recognize that collaboration drives success and actively contribute to a positive workplace environment.

  • Omnichannel Expertise:You manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines, and you have a strong grasp of how traditional broadcast and digital/OTT video work together to create an effective marketing funnel.

  • Proven Track Record:You thrive in a metrics and results-driven sales culture. You are skilled at conveying technical information, addressing objections, and preparing professional presentations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and account management skills are required.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.

  • Digital Video Advertising, Broadcast Sales, and/or Agency experience is preferred.

  • Varied hours, weekends, holidays, and local travel are required.

  • Ability to obtain reliable transportation.

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

The on-target earnings range for this position is between $120,000 - $160,000 annually.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-80,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
