You are:

A hands-on Oracle Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) specialist who thrives at the intersection of functional design and data conversion. You bring deep experience configuring Oracle Utilities asset management solutions and leading complex data migration efforts in utility environments. You are equally comfortable in workshops with business stakeholders and deep in conversion mapping sessions with technical teams. Your blend of SOA/OIC integration knowledge and utilities industry context makes you the person clients turn to when they need solutions that stick.

The work:

  • Lead the functional design and configuration of Oracle WACS modules to meet client-specific utility asset management requirements.

  • Serve as Conversion Lead, overseeing data migration planning, source-to-target mapping, conversion rule development, and validation for WACS-related data domains.

  • Integrate Oracle WACS with adjacent systems including HCM, OIC/SOA middleware, and legacy IS-U environments.

  • Facilitate business requirements workshops with asset management, field operations, and IT stakeholders to capture and document functional specifications.

  • Collaborate with technical architects and developers to ensure conversion routines align with functional designs and data quality standards.

  • Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution for WACS workstreams.

  • Contribute to cutover planning and execution, ensuring data readiness and conversion completeness ahead of go-live.

  • Mentor junior team members and coordinate across onshore and offshore delivery teams.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing Oracle Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) in utility environments.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading data conversion or migration efforts on Oracle Utilities projects, including source-to-target mapping and validation.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SOA or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) in the context of WACS or utilities system integrations.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6 years' work experience.

Bonus Points If:

  • Oracle WACS or Oracle Utilities certification.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with HCM integration patterns in the context of field workforce or asset management.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on a full-lifecycle WACS implementation from requirements through go-live.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with utility industry asset management standards (e.g., PAS 55, ISO 55000).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP IS-U or equivalent legacy utility asset management systems.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience facilitating business requirements workshops and producing functional design documents (FDDs).
