Job description

Employee Value Proposition:
In this position you will support commercial construction projects by installing plumbing systems and related materials.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with commercial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale commercial and industrial construction projects such as, healthcare, government, educational, manufacturing, data centers and others
  • Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas, or other liquids
  • Regular use of basic hand tools and ability to read a tape measure
  • Assist with the installation of materials such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping
  • Duties could include assisting with setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, utility hookups, etc
  • Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights
  • Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills needed from the Ideal Candidate
  • 3 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred
  • Current / valid apprentice license in applicable state
  • Willingness to learn to read blueprints and shop drawing
  • Knowledge of basic and tools and ability to read a tape measure preferred
  • OSHA 10-hour preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to perform routine measurements and calculations. Ability to work with fractions, percentages, and decimals.

  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, kneel, climb, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test in accordance to our Company Substance Abuse Policy
