Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. Eldora is located just outside of the charming mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, about 20 miles west of Boulder and less than 50 miles from downtown Denver.

Position Summary: Eldora Resort is seeking vibrant and enthusiastic Facilities Team Leads. In this hands-on role, you'll help coordinate daily operations across resort grounds and facilities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You'll be instrumental in promoting a culture of safety, cleanliness, teamwork, and environmental responsibility, while motivating staff in a fun and fast-paced mountain environment. This position is perfect for someone who leads by example, communicates clearly, and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and well-kept resort experience.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Base Ops Utility Workers. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members are motivated and aligned with Eldora's values and operational goals.

  • Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of common areas including tables, floors, restrooms, and outdoor spaces to ensure they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards.

  • Manage the recycling, compost, and trash collection processes, promoting Eldora's commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.

  • Ensure outdoor walkways, entrances, and decks are safe and clear of snow and ice. Utilize snow blowers or shovels as needed while adhering to safety protocols.

  • Train new team members on proper procedures, safety standards, and Eldora's operational practices. Foster a positive and productive work environment.

  • Leads by example for all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to and reinforcing a safe working environment for self, coworkers, work crews, and guests.

  • All employees are expected to support Eldora's corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in the Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for guests.

  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.

Specific Job Skills:

  • Must have a valid US Driver's License and complete an MVR checkto company standards.

Physical Demands:

  • Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling& prolonged standing

  • Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment

  • Concentrated reading and writing

  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation:Proposed hiring rate of $21+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
