Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative

The UPS Store is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, working in a fast-paced retail environment, and learning a variety of shipping, printing, mailbox, and small business services. No shipping experience is required—we provide hands-on training for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
  • Assist customers with shipping, packing, mailbox services, package drop-offs, Amazon returns, printing, copying, faxing, and retail purchases.
  • Receive and process packages for shipment through UPS, USPS, DHL, and other carriers.
  • Recommend shipping, packing, printing, and business service solutions based on customer needs.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, printers, copiers, fax machines, laminating machines, binding equipment, and other store equipment.
  • Provide accurate information regarding shipping options, packaging requirements, delivery timelines, mailbox services, and printing solutions.
  • Learn all products, services, pricing options, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe store environment.
  • Support daily store operations and assist team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, cashiering, shipping, printing, office services, hospitality, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong computer and internet skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, POS systems, printers, copiers, or Adobe software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Friendly, professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of The UPS Store business.
