Used Car Service Technician

The Nissan of Richardson is seeking to hire a skilled, experienced, and self-motivated Used Car Service Technician to our growing team! The Service Technician must be proficient in diagnosing repairs in all areas for various make and model vehicles, including but not limited to specialized components.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Examines, diagnoses, and evaluates the issues of the vehicle with the Shop Foreman/Service Advisor for communication to the customers. The Technician provides labor time estimations and repair details to the Service Advisor.
  • Restores transmissions and fuel components as required. The Technician manages cooling components and systems, such as engine cooling and air conditioners.
  • Proposes work procedures in cooperation with the Shop Foreman. The Technician assembles a story or document for customer repairs.
  • Ensures that vehicle longevity and functionality are maintained in a consistent manner. The Technician adheres to dealership policies regarding customer vehicle care and operations.

Job Requirements:

  • European experience preferred. Automotive Technician's knowledge/experience is REQUIRED. Pay is based on experience.
  • Certifications, licenses, and local registrations are required for the position.
  • Ability to understand and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals.
  • Flexible schedule
