We are currently searching for a Service Car Porter who has a high level of integrity, is hardworking and motivated to join our team.


Position Summary

Position: Car Porter

Classification: Full Time; Non -Exempt

Reports To: Service Manager

Work Location: In person; 5225 I-10. Baytown TX 77521

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Keeps vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  • Cleans interior and exterior of used vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows etc. as needed.
  • Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.
  • Starts vehicles daily and reports any problems or concerns.
  • Pick up parts from parts department.
  • Performs light maintenance on vehicles as needed, i.e., replaces windshield wiper blades, replenishes fluids, etc.
  • Keeps vehicles fueled and clean.
  • Ensures that required forms/stickers have been completed and are properly displayed.
  • Other Duties Assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Able to work individually as well as part of a team.

Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:

  • Porter or valet experience preferred, we encourage you to apply but this is not a requirement.
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • All applicants must pass pre-employment screening which includes Background Check, Drug Test, and MVR
  • Must have clean driving record, and be licensed for a minimum of 3 years to be insurable
  • Must be able to work Saturdays and up to 40 hours per week
  • Reliably transportation


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive, stand, bend, and/ or walk for extended periods of time
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
