Role Summary
The US GAAP Product Owner at Banner Life Insurance is responsible for driving the design and delivery of financial reporting solutions compliant with US GAAP standards, with a strong focus on LDTI (ASU 2018-12). This role bridges Finance, Actuarial, and Technology teams to ensure accurate, audit-ready reporting for life insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage the product backlog for US GAAP financial reporting systems aligned with LDTI requirements.
• Translate actuarial models and accounting requirements (ASC 944) into clear user stories and technical deliverables.
• Ensure accurate reporting of insurance liabilities, DAC, and premium revenue.
• Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, IT, and Compliance teams to align product roadmap.
• Validate financial outputs to meet audit and regulatory standards.
• Support LDTI transformation initiatives and ongoing enhancements.
