Job description

Role Overview:
The Program Director - US GAAP is responsible for leading large-scale finance transformation programs aligned with US GAAP accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end US GAAP transformation programs, including financial reporting, accounting policy implementation, and system modernization
  • Drive program strategy, roadmap, and execution aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership to ensure adherence to US GAAP standards and reporting requirements
  • Oversee implementation of finance platforms (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Financials, Workday Finance, etc.)
  • Manage multi-million-dollar program budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in finance transformation, program management, or enterprise initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards and financial reporting processes

Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to IFRS (for global reporting environments)
  • Experience in Insurance or Banking finance transformation
  • Knowledge of IFRS 17 / LDTI (for insurance organizations)
