Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Project Coordinator II for the Voorhees Transport Center. The Research Project Coordinator will support VTC initiatives focused on Spanish-speaking communities by translating flyers, fact sheets, surveys, and other outreach materials from English to Spanish; conducting virtual and in-person outreach activities in Spanish, including community meetings, trainings, and events; and assisting project staff with developing culturally responsive engagement strategies to improve participation and accessibility for Spanish-speaking residents across VTC projects.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Provides support to project managers/principal investigators by assisting with the coordination of assigned programs/projects.
  • Assists in the conduct of research, including but not limited to: literature reviews, leading practice scans, case studies, planning and administration of focus groups and surveys.
  • Assists with the preparation project reports, memoranda and other work products.
  • Arranges and coordinates logistics and assists with content related to project-related events and meetings.
  • Performs professional work that meets high standards of quality.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of project coordination, organization, facilitation, report preparation and analysis, writing, and outreach.
