Accounting Manager

Bridgepoint Consulting, An Addison Group Company, is currently seeking experienced Accounting Managers who want to join our growing Boston team, tasked with supporting our clients in a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs.

You’ll be a great fit if you have experience in:

  • 5–8 years of hands-on full cycle accounting experience
  • Recent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management
  • Monthly closing procedures, monthly and quarterly financial reporting
  • Small to mid-sized company environment with the ability to multi-task and wear several hats
  • Preparing and/or reviewed monthly account reconciliations
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issues
  • Ability to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

Skills You’ll Need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance degrees are a plus
  • Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service
  • Hungry, Humble, Smart Attitude

Highly Preferred:

  • Revenue Recognition
  • Work experience with both public and private companies
  • Industry experience in start-ups, technology, software, SaaS & Big Four/public accounting
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct), along with moderate – advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel

Preferred:

  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA
  • Prior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms
