Job description

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance is seeking students to assist in monitoring audition and/or interview rooms with authorized faculty members for both on-campus and Zoom auditions and interviews. Student monitors do not participate in the audition or interview process unless requested by faculty. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist applicants to the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance in getting to their audition and interview rooms.
  • Keep faculty on schedule to complete auditions and interviews in the allotted time.
  • Act as the third party in the "rule of three" for applicants under the age of 18.
  • Act as ambassadors for the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance and answer questions from applicants, families, and supporters.
  • Enforce and follow policies and procedures as outlined by the Ithaca College Risk Management Protection of Minors Policy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Matriculated School of Music, Theatre, and Dance student at Ithaca College.
  • Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with a diverse population of applicants and their families and supporters.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and work-ethic.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.

PAY RATE: $15.65 / hour
