Job description

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time Training Coordinator position in the Office of Georgia Quick Start. This position is located at the TCSG Georgia Quick Start Office in Savannah, Georgia.  *This is not a remote position*

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for conducting industry job and training analysis, developing training plans and designing performance-based training for Quick Start project companies.  Coordinates a projects team, instructional designers and instructors to develop and deliver training.  Creates and implements processes to ensure quality and effectiveness of instructional materials and instruction.  Monitors project activity, maintains training records, and conducts research to acquire new resources and technologies for industry skills assessment and training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development, Instructional design, Business, Engineering, Adult Education or a related field *and* two years business experience in a training environment  OR  Six years business experience in a training environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development, Instructional Design, Business, Engineering, Adult Education or a related field *and* four years business experience in a manufacturing training environment  OR  eight years business experience in a manufacturing training environment.
