ย As aย Unit Manager Nurse,ย you will take the lead on all admissions and ensure the entire resident admission process is smooth and effortless. You will work with the Hospital Liaison and admissions team to clinically review referrals who will potentially admit to our facility. You will play a key role to ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atย Avantara Mountain Viewย by overseeing the resident admissions process from the referral process, entering orders, ensuring all records necessary for admission are obtained, working with residents and their family members to complete admission documentation, and ensuring new residentโ€™s rooms are appropriately prepared for them prior to their arrival. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

  • As a minimum, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

  • ย At least 1 year of prior clinical experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Preferred experience with Point Click Care.

  • Team oriented, analytical, and ability to multi-task.

  • Basic knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care Organizations.

  • Experience performing audits, quality assurance checks a plus.
