Heath Village is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Assisted Living unit.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsibilities:

  • Generally responsible in daily logistics such as carrying out orders for medication orders, laboratory and other medical orders, communicating with MD/Family as well as coordinating with other health care services.
  • Supervises and oversees the medication aides and caregivers to ensure quality services are rendered to residents with utmost care and compassion.
  • Makes daily rounds on the unit in order to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status of nursing residents
  • Provides comprehensive oversight to unit staff to assure nursing care is proved according to physician's order's.
  • Analyzes and evaluates nursing staff needs as well as determines staffing requirements
  • Assesses the needs of each resident, and implements the Resident Interim Care Plan
  • Provides daily input to the Unit Manager for development of the resident care plan
  • Performs generalized Charge Nurse duties

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) skills and requirements:

  • Valid LPN license
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations

Full Time and Per Diem available

3pm - 11pm

$32 - $34 per hour for Full Time

$35 for Per Diem
