Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, a 258-bed skilled nursing facility located in the scenic Hudson Valley is seeking a Unit Clerk for our sub-acute rehab unit with a positive attitude and a commitment to caring to join our team of healthcare professionals.


Monday through Friday

Rate $16-18/Hr.

Job Summary: Supervises and coordinates clerical management functions for one or more resident/patient care units. Coordinates with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to maintain a unit that is hygienically safe and functional.  Maintains close contact with Admissions, Discharge Planner, and RN Unit Manager/LPN Charge nurse and helps coordinate the execution of admissions, transfers, discharges, and other services. Ensures that the medical record is complete, culled, and maintained on the unit in accordance with established medical records policies and procedures.  Checks charts, coordinates and prepares paperwork of residents/patients scheduled for procedures out of the facility, appointments in and out of the facility.  Greets directs and gives nonprofessional factual information to residents/patients, visitors, and personnel from other departments.
