Overview
As a TAG Logistics Specialist, you will serve as a key member of the J4 Directorate, responsible for planning, synchronizing, and executing logistics support for sensitive and time-critical operations. You will ensure all equipment, transportation, sustainment, and personnel movement requirements align with approved operational plans, authorities, and security constraints. In this role, you will provide expert logistics guidance to leadership and mission planners to enable successful SOF and joint mission execution.
Security Requirement:
  • An active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Plans and synchronizes logistics support for sensitive SOF and joint operations.
  • Coordinates air, ground, and maritime movements while ensuring compliance with security and attribution requirements.
  • Analyzes mission requirements and TDLs to determine logistics needs and resource allocation.
  • Develops tailored logistics plans that address operational constraints and movement restrictions.
  • Identifies logistics risks and implements mitigation strategies to protect mission integrity.
  • Collaborates with mission planners, interagency partners, and logistics stakeholders to ensure unified support.
  • Advises leadership on logistics feasibility, movement options, and sustainment posture.

Position Requirements:
  • 3-7+ years of logistics planning or movement coordination experience, ideally in SOF, joint, or interagency environments.
  • Strong understanding of joint logistics, sustainment processes, OPSEC, classification, and attribution considerations.
  • Experience analyzing mission requirements and developing logistics support plans.
  • Ability to coordinate air, ground, and maritime movements under security and operational constraints.
  • Skilled in risk assessment, resource allocation, and movement tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across J-codes and partner organizations.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SOF, joint operations, or sensitive activities.
  • Familiarity with joint planning processes and interagency coordination.
  • Proficiency with movement tracking and logistics planning systems.
  • Understanding of theater sustainment networks and global mobility.
  • Ability to manage attribution, low-visibility movements, and OPSEC considerations.
  • Strong briefing, COA development, and decision-support skills.
  • Knowledge of contracting, acquisition, and external support mechanisms.
