Job description

We're seeking a Customer Service Logistics Specialist to join Kaivac's growing team!
Kaivac invents new ways to tackle the toughest cleaning challenges in restrooms, food service kitchens, floors, commercial refrigeration equipment, and more. We develop science-based hygienic cleaning systems that protect the health of building occupants while elevating the value of cleaning operations.
The Customer Service Logistics Specialist bridges the gap between a company's sales/operations and its clients. They manage the "order-to-cash" process by tracking shipments, addressing delivery delays, resolving disputes, and ensuring customers receive their goods on time and in perfect condition. This role is responsible for understanding each Customer's specific needs and proactively identifying opportunities to meet those needs through Kaivac products and services.
Candidate Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in customer service or a related role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to superior customer service
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating multiple databases and systems (CRM experience highly preferred)
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
Role Responsibilities
  • Communicate with prospective and current Customers via phone, email, and chat to answer questions, place orders, resolve issues, and engage in suggestive selling; respond to all correspondence in a timely manner
  • Build strong connections through meaningful conversations that deliver an excellent Customer experience and positively represent the Kaivac brand
  • Collaborate ("Kaillaborate") with internal team members to better understand the business and help deliver an outstanding Customer experience
  • Advocate for Kaivac products and services by consulting with previous and current Customers to identify needs and recommend solutions that positively impact their business
  • Identify and resolve Customer issues to ensure a highly satisfactory experience that fosters long-term relationships
  • Manage leads by connecting Customers with local Distributors, coordinating introductions, and facilitating smooth transitions
  • Accurately enter and maintain Customer data in CRM Visual and Salesforce following all interactions
