Job description

Description

Join Consumers Credit Union (CCU) as a temporary employee for a 3-month assignment working on mortgage files. This assignment is perfect for a detail-oriented individual that is looking to earn some extra income from July through September.

Location and Schedule

  • The work will be completed at our Mundelein Branch and Lake Forest corporate office so the selected individual must be flexible to travel to each location.
  • This is a 40 hour per week project; Monday - Friday during regular business hours (8 AM-5 PM). Target start date is July 6th.

The Project

This project is clerical and hands-on. You will track and organize physical mortgage files to ensure they are complete and accurate for our third-party vendor to scan and store the documents. This will include entering information about each file into an Excel spreadsheet, matching documents to the correct file, storing the files in boxes, and labeling accordingly. You will begin at the Mundelein branch and once the work is completed there, you'll move to the Lake Forest office.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required + minimum of 18 years old
  • Basic skills using a MS Excel spreadsheet
  • Data entry experience and computer skills (email, instant chat, etc.)
  • Detail oriented - you'll be matching files to the correct member's account, and the matching must be accurate
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Independent worker and self-starter - you work well with little guidance

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is $18 to $20 per hour. A specific salary offer considers factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. With this being a temporary role it is not eligible for benefits.
